9 years after a stem cell injection for an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear

by Don Buford, M.D. | 8 months ago

This patient had a bad knee injury at age 14. I repaired the medial meniscus BUT rather than reconstructing the partially torn ACL we opted to inject with bone marrow concentrate. He has done fantastic for 9 years....no restrictions...no braces....plays any and every sport. He has a new injury from playing hoops that we now have to sort out!
