A lifelong athlete and career nurse, severe hip pain put a halt to Teresa�s active lifestyle. She did research and sought out Daniel Chan, MD, Chief, Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine, who found the cartilage in her hip was gone. After unsuccessful non-surgical options, he performed a bikini incision total hip replacement, a minimally invasive surgery that left an almost imperceptible scar.
