Mr. Cook's surgery was performed in the morning, and he walked out of the hospital the same day

by Eli Kamara, MD | 4 years ago

Dr. Kamara performs hip replacement through an anterior approach. This is a minimally invasive surgery where the hip is replaced without cutting the patient’s muscles, allowing for a faster recovery. Mr. Cook’s surgery was performed in the morning, and he walked out of the hospital the same day. He is now back to all his activities including weight lifting, swimming, walking, and biking. He plans on returning to tennis this summer!
