Steroid shot for shoulder pain? 10 yr testimonial

by Don Buford, M.D. | 10 years ago

Patient testimonial 10 yrs after receiving a low dose steroid shot for left shoulder subacromial impingement syndrome. We believe there is a place for trying this treatment for specific indications because often patients' symptoms are cured. For those patients who don't improve after one steroid injection we often consider platelet rich plasma (PRP) or bone marrow derived stem cell (BMC) injections depending on the clinical indication!
