10 Weeks After Rotator Cuff Surgery: Strengthening, Golf & Recovery
by IndyShoulder | 18 days ago
Congratulations—you are now about 10 weeks out from your arthroscopic shoulder surgery. In this video, Dr. Brian L. Badman explains what patients can typically expect at this stage of recovery and how to safely progress toward strengthening and normal activities. For patients who underwent rotator cuff repair, approximately 10 weeks is often when the repaired tendon has had enough time to heal back to the bone for strengthening to begin and gradually progress. Patients who underwent a biceps procedure may also begin increasing strengthening around this stage.
