The Acumed Avulsion Hook Plate is designed to provide more stability than a K-wire when a fragment is too small for a single lag screw. When used with the Standard Volar Distal Radius Plate, the ultra-thin 0.8 mm Avulsion Hook Plate offers extended fixation and articular buttress for marginal rim fractures via either volar or dorsal surgical approaches.
