Hip Arthroscopy Recovery | Stephanie Mayer MD, Orthopedic Surgeon | UCHealth

Hip arthroscopy can generally be done as an outpatient surgery. You will be on crutches for a few weeks and then the rest of the recovery is fairly active with physical therapy. Usually people are able to return to their sports and activities somewhere between 4 and 8 months after surgery.
